Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 29, 2025

This Privacy Policy explains how RWA Kernel ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

1.1 Information you provide directly

  • Contact information: such as your name, email address, and any other details you submit if you sign up for updates, request an API key, or contact us with questions or feedback
  • Developer information: if you apply for API access, we may collect your organization name, website, and intended use case

1.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit or interact with the Service, we may automatically collect:

  • Log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and timestamps
  • Usage data: which endpoints you call (e.g., /api/assets, /api/inspect), request parameters, response codes, and performance metrics
  • Cookies and similar technologies: small data files used to store preferences, session information, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

We do not attempt to link this technical data to your real-world identity, except when necessary for security, abuse monitoring, or when you have provided identifying information (e.g., in an API key request).

1.3 Public blockchain data

When you use the Token Inspector or similar tools, you may submit:

  • Blockchain network identifiers (e.g., chain IDs)
  • Token contract addresses

These are not "personal data" by default, but we may log them as part of normal usage and diagnostics.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Monitor and analyze usage and performance
  • Improve and develop new features (including APIs and tools)
  • Detect, prevent, and address abuse, security incidents, or technical issues
  • Communicate with you (e.g., responding to inquiries, sending updates where you have opted in)
  • Enforce our Terms of Use

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Legal Bases (if applicable)

Where required by applicable law (e.g., GDPR in the EU/EEA), we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract: providing the Service you request
  • Legitimate interests: improving the Service, maintaining security, and preventing abuse
  • Consent: where you have explicitly given consent (e.g., for certain communications or cookies), which you may withdraw at any time

4. Sharing of Information

We may share information:

  • Service providers: with third-party vendors that help us operate the Service (e.g., hosting providers, analytics tools, email providers), subject to appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations
  • Legal and safety: if required by law or in good faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect the rights, property, or safety of RWA Kernel, our users, or the public, or investigate and prevent abuse or security incidents
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same protections

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to:

  • Provide and improve the Service
  • Maintain security and audit logs
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and the purposes for which it was collected. We will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, or unauthorized access.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, such as:

  • Access: to know what data we hold about you
  • Correction: to update or correct inaccurate data
  • Deletion: to request deletion of certain data
  • Restriction: to limit how we use certain data
  • Objection: to object to certain uses (e.g., direct marketing)
  • Portability: to receive a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format

You can also:

  • Control cookies via your browser settings
  • Opt out of non-essential email communications by using unsubscribe links in our emails

8. International Transfers

Our infrastructure or service providers may be located in countries other than your own. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with different data protection laws.

Where required by applicable law, we will implement appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may link to third-party sites (issuers, explorers, analytics) or integrate third-party services (e.g., analytics tools).

We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 16 (or the minimum age required by local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe we have collected information about a child, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
